Eatbrain
Eatbrain
From the mind of neurofunk pioneer Jade, comes EATBRAIN - a forward thinking imprint standing at the crux of heavy dancefloor rhythms and the razors edge of drum & bass.

Since the label's first release in 2011 (EATBRAIN001: Jade + SOM - 'Here We Go' / 'Audio Hypnosis') Eatbrain has gained widespread recognition as a symbol of quality in drum & bass. Under the creative direction of Jade, who helped define the neurofunk sound from its early stages, the imprint has grown into a movement encompassing a who's-who of drum & bass artists including names like Mindscape, Black Sun Empire, Fourward, State of Mind, Dose, Telekinesis, Mefjus, Neonlight, Rymetyme, Teddy Killerz, and more. With a focus on quality over quantity, Eatbrain has quickly become a trusted source for those seeking the best new sounds and artists in drum & bass. It's through this tastemaker perspective that the label has seen to the release of numerous classics and anthems which have epitomized the ever-growing neurofunk DNB sound. The last few years have also seen the label expand into the live realm, with Jade hosting a string of wildly successful parties under the "Eatbrain Night" banner.

EATBRAIN's conquest shows no signs of slowing down, as the label continues to infect listeners and dancefloors across the globe with its signature sound, exploring new concepts and aural frontiers, and pushing drum & bass forward in the process.
Jade
Jade
A name synonymous with neurofunk - Simon Gabor aka JADE has been making waves in the DNB scene since the early 2000s, leaving his mark on legendary labels like Moving Shadow and Black Sun Empire Recordings. It was through these early releases, and continuing through the rest of the decade, that Jade pioneered the emerging sound known as "neurofunk", which was still finding its identity. Jade's unique and aggressive style earned him a place amongst drum & bass's finest producers, while his impressive skills as a DJ saw him touring Europe and beyond as one of Hungary's most sought after musical exports. Tracks like "Got Lost" with frequent collaborator Matt-U and "Unexist" exemplify Jade's early sound - the menacing, abrasive vibe is unmistakeable. In 2009 Jade released his debut album - Venom LP, on the highly regarded Citrus Recordings - a powerful mission statement from the producer, which delivered the "Budapest sound" to the world. Tracks like "No Cure" and the eponymous "Venom" featuring Rymetyme continue to define the neurofunk genre as timeless classics - required listening for a thorough drum & bass education.

2011 saw Jade take his next step toward global domination, with the establishment of his own label EATBRAIN - a forward thinking imprint standing at the crux of heavy dancefloor rhythms and the razors edge of drum & bass. With a unique aesthetic and the expertly curated creative direction of Jade, Eatbrain has quickly grown into a global movement within the drum & bass community, with the support of the genre's finest. In just a few short years, Eatbrain has released music from heavyweights like Mindscape, Black Sun Empire, State of Mind, and Neonlight, while supporting the rise of newcomers such as NickBee and Teddy Killerz - to name only a few. It's clear, at this point, Jade will continue to shape the direction of drum & bass music for years to come.
Mob Tactics
Mob Tactics
Mob Tactics seem to be a name on people’s lips more and more of late. Already renowned for their inimitable style of techy – yet very funky, dancefloor orientated Drum & Bass, the duo appear to be going from strength-to-strength with each release. Their tunes are already firm staples in the sets of Andy C, Friction, Matrix & Futurebound, DJ Hype and Audio, to name but a few, and the demand for them on the DJ circuit is rapidly gaining momentum. Heavily influenced by the likes of Ed Rush & Optical, Bad Company, Konflict and Total Science, you can always guarantee a Mob Tactics release or DJ set will be nothing short of high octane.

Luke and Mark first met in 2009, when Luke, who was running the music department at Chemical Records, signed some of Mark’s tunes to their in-house imprint: RUN DNB. After instantly hitting it off and realising their musical tastes were so similar, the two decided to hit the studio in early 2010. The first weekend at Mark’s studio they managed to create ‘Gunjack’ and the following weekend at Luke’s, they knocked out ‘Stick-up Kid’ – both of which went on to garner support from DJ Hype, Bailey & Crissy Criss, and were subsequently released a few months later on Traffic Music. Mob Tactics was born.

Fast forward a few years and the boys are in full swing. 2011/2012 saw several releases on the duos own imprint: Tactical Recordings – including the critically acclaimed ‘Kansas’ and a track for BTK’s Dutty Audio label entitled ‘Prang’. But it was 2013 that proved to be the most successful year to date. The dancehall tinged hit: ‘Crazy Hype’, featuring ragga legend, Elephant Man, was snapped up by Playaz. Their remix of Cause4Concern’s early 2000 anthem: ‘Soul’ went on to feature in the sets of just about every man and his dog! Prolix snatched up ‘Grotbags’ for his Trendkill imprint, and legendary Andy C signed up ‘Wolf Trap’ exclusively for the sixth installment of his hugely successful ‘Nightlife’ compilations.

2014 saw no sign of slowing down with releases on Chase & Status’ MTA Records, including ‘The Answer EP’ and the single ‘Gasp For Breath’, along with tracks featured on UKF Bass Culture, Ram Records ‘Ram Miami’ and ‘Ram Life: Audio’ compilations.

Now moving into the next chapter of their careers, Mob Tactics have signed exclusively to Futurebound’s Viper Recordings label with their debut single ‘Neon God’. Walking the fine line between uplifting and underground, ‘Neon God’ signals the exclusive and triumphant pairing of Viper Recordings and Mob Tactics which is going make a lot of noise, both figuratively and literally.
SIGNAL
SIGNAL
Signal is the Winner of the "BEST NEWCOMER" Award at the DNB Arena Awards
Signal has also had releases on some big labels such as Invisible Recordings, Critical Music & Dispatch Recordings

Bio:
As something of a musical anomaly, Jonathan Kievit has rapidly become one of the most revered producers of recent times. With unparalleled support from some of the most respected names in the industry, Signal has managed to raise the standards of drum and bass production, causing a furore amongst fans and fellow producers alike.
After his debut release on Ammunition Recordings in early 2015, Signal quickly caught the attention of the major labels. Just a few short months later, his collaborative track with Disprove entitled ‘Arkaik Twelve’ was picked up by pioneering drum and bass label Renegade Hardware, propelling him into the limelight. Since then Signal has been busier than ever. After returning to the studio, he has finalised a number of highly anticipated solo projects and collaborations, all due for release in 2015 on labels such as Invisible Recordings, Lifestyle Music, Overtech Music, Mindtech Music and Critical Music’s digital imprint, Binary.
Whilst concentrating on his production, Signal also embarked on his second musical venture. In 2015 Signal co founded digital label ‘Fumei’, alongside respected artist ‘Skadi’. Fumei’s first release received critical acclaim and paved the way for many more successful future releases. After his first DJ appearance in early 2015 Signal has gained a fearsome reputation. His forward thinking style has very much set him aside from other young artists in the industry.
With many more exciting projects set for release and Signal far from reaching his peak the future is certainly looking incredibly bright for this young producer.

Kashim has over a decade of experience DJing UK inspired sets locally while Kariem took interest in the production aspect of drum & bass

Although relatively new to releasing music, the duo has already gained attention from established music outlets such as Hospital Records [UK] to The EDM Network and Drumnbass.net featuring works from their debut release, "Encounters" EP via You So Fat Records [Belarus]. In 2014, they had a track featured in Hospital Records Democast series with support by Krakota. Their most recent release 'Making Magic' with Soulvent Records recently earned airtime with support from TC on Friction's BBC Radio 1Xtra.The duo continues to add show support for international headliners to their roster while dedicating tremendous time in the studio, finely tuning their productions between neurofunk and liquid-funk, entertaining both sides of the dnb spectrum.

Kashim leads the duo with almost a decade of performing UK inspired sets in Las Vegas - spanning from Jungle to Drum & Bass.

It was shortly after his experience performing for Planet of The Drums back in 2009 that led him to begin his d&b mixing career. Since then, he has shared the same stage with headliners such as Optiv, Calyx & TeeBee, The Prototypes, Original Sin, Taxman, Subzero, Tantrum Desire, AK1200 [POTD], and BLOKHE4D, while being regarded as one of the few local talents who would bring originality and heavy bass to the decks.

Kariem, native to Vegas, started as a casual listener while supporting the local gigs that fueled the underground music scene being exposed to the UK influences his brother demonstrated on the decks. Over time, the love for bass music took hold and shifted his attention toward the sound design and composition / production aspects of D&B.
Des McMahon
Des McMahon
Des McMahon signed his first record deal at the young age of 18. Now, almost seven years later, the Philadelphia-born producer has become a staple in Washington D.C.’s swelling electronic music scene. Whether composing mind-bending drum and bass, or pushing sound systems to their limit in his DJ sets, McMahon’s unique sound encapsulates both limitless range and time-tested drive.

Despite the sonic confidence throughout his music, Des is humbled to have shared the stage with fellow artists Skrillex, Nero, Spor, and Noisia in front of sold-out crowds. Spiralus
Spiralus
A man, a myth, a legend and a mystery. Many know me as Jaxx from the fighting game and anime communities. I help organize and run the second largest fighting game tournament in the United States, Final Round.

However, my main passion is making people move their feet, and groove to a litany of fresh Drum & Bass, the genre that I love near and dear to my heart. The music changed me, so now I create the music that rocked my soul.
Zaiaku
Zaiaku
Zaiaku is a dynamic producer and DJ, whose claim to fame is his very distinct look, explosive
stage presence, fine track selection, his ability to hype up an audience, as well as his humble and modest personality. He is a Las Vegas based DJ/Producer whose curiosity with music triggered him to become a producer at the young age of 11. He found himself sitting down and making music for hours at a time, striving for progress and perfection, while imitating his favorite artists (e.g., Noisia, Amon, Tobin, Spor, Phace, Reso, Emperor, billain). He never imagined his desire to find a primary hobby which would eventually become a career.
At the age 16, his uncle taught him the skills needed to become a DJ. He landed his first public DJ gig in Las Vegas by the age of 18. His sound engineered productions can vary from “dark” and “gritty” and
sometimes outright “evil bass” music to “infinitely energetic” and “cutting edge”. Glitch-Hop, Electro, Dubstep, and Drum n Bass are only a few of the genres of music he likes to play and produce. Although fairly new to the music industry, you most definitely want to keep an eye on this unique artist.
